Thom Walker

Thom Walker’s innovative approach to makeup draws inspiration from architecture, referencing shapes and colors from the urban landscape of East London where he currently resides. Born in Northern England, Walker began his career with MAC Cosmetics in Paris, where he honed his craft before emerging as a leading force in the beauty industry. His editorial work has appeared in the Italian, British, and American editions of Vogue, as well as AnOther, i-D, W, Double and Dazed. From 2020 to 2021, Walker served as Chanel’s UK makeup artist; and in 2022, he was appointed creative director of Givenchy Makeup.
Walker is known for his collaborations with some of the industry’s most esteemed photographers, including Paolo Roversi, Jamie Hawkesworth, Johnny Dufort, Jack Davison, Rafael Pavarotti, Sølve Sundsbø, Walter Pfeiffer, Anthony Seklaoui, Malick Bodian and Richard Burbridge. His distinctive style has shaped advertising projects for brands including Givenchy, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Alexander McQueen and Off-White. Additionally, he has overseen makeup for shows by Ferragamo, Stefan Cooke, Molly Goddard, Thomas Tait, Maximilian, and A-Cold-Wall, among others.
Walker’s celebrity clientele includes Emma Watson, Claire Foy, Saoirse Ronan, Kristen Stewart, Mia Goth, FKA Twigs, Pamela Anderson and Rosalía, further cementing his reputation as a go-to artist for bold, creative expressions in fashion and entertainment contexts.
