Sophear

Sophear is a Franco-Cambodian set designer, based in Paris, known for creating immersive visual environments. He is a graduate of ÉCAL, the prestigious university of art and design in Lausanne, Switzerland, where his multi-disciplinary training included industrial design, graphic design, photography and studio art. Sophear uses color, light and texture to construct a range of tactile and abstract environments that engage the senses and challenge viewers’ perceptions. His artistic choices are influenced by his passion for flora and fauna, gemology, fine art, unique objects and his intuitive appreciation of craftsmanship.
Sophear’s editorial work has been featured in D la Repubblica, Self Service, Re-Edition, French and Italian Vogue and M Le magazine du Monde. His commercial clients include Dior, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.
