His multidisciplinary practice – spanning photography, film and creative direction – seamlessly bridges the commercial and fine art worlds. His unique perspective has made him a sought-after collaborator across the creative industries.
Debusschere served as Image and Music Director at Bottega Veneta during Mathieu Blazy’s tenure as creative director. He worked closely with Blazy to shape the brand’s visual identity with his distinct blend of artistry and innovation.
Debusschere’s commercial clients have included Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Raf Simons, YSL, Comme des Garçons, Nike, Calvin Klein, Chaumet and MAC. Debusschere has also worked closely with Beyoncé, creating music videos and imagery across several of her album cycles.
Debusschere has had several exhibitions of his personal work in Europe. In 2013, at the invitation of the Villa Noailles, he created the book, show, and hour-long film, “I Know Simply That The Sky Will Last Longer Than I.” The film was exhibited at the Festival de Hyères. In 2018, his second exhibition, UNcovered, was presented at MAD in Brussels. The accompanying book was published by Triangle Books, and the exhibition later traveled to Bookmarc in Tokyo. Debusschere’s most recent exhibition, Spectrum, opened at The Room at 254Forest in 2020.
