Bardia Zeinali
- Director
Bardia Zeinali grew up with a deep fascination for popular culture and today, with his work as a director of film and video, he is helping to shape it. His music videos for such artists as Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Kacey Musgraves have garnered hundreds of millions of views. Zeinali’s films for Vogue showcase a who’s who of fashion, film and pop royalty. In the height of the pandemic, he shot I Love New York, a love letter to New York featuring a script by Jeremy O. Harris and narration from Whoopi Goldberg.
Zeinali’s witty, playful and wildly energetic work is instantly recognizable for its vibrant textures and unique visual language. He balances irony with sincerity, crafting meticulous videos that feel entirely spontaneous. The resulting pieces are both effervescent and thoughtful.
A self-taught filmmaker and digital native, Zeinali began making videos in his spare time while working at Vogue, where his talent quickly caught the attention of the editorial staff. He played a crucial role in developing the visual language for Vogue’s digital platforms.
Zeinali approaches his commercial work with a 360-degree, social-first mindset, always thinking about how campaigns will thrive in the digital world. From conception to post-production, he collaborates closely with brands to ensure maximum impact. His clients have included Dior, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton and Nike, among others.
